Bachelor of Education or B.Ed is Teacher Training Programme for the duration of two academic years, which can be completed in a maximum of three years from the date of admission to the programme.

RTTI has been approved for Two Units (50 students each) i.e. a total intake of hundred seats has been approved by NCTE(NRC) Govt. of India.
Fee Structure: As per the latest notification the fee structure for the B.Ed Course is Rs 42,950/- for 1st Year and Rs 41,920/- for 2nd Year.Click here for details
University Charges: Levy charges will be taken as per the H.P. University, Shimla norms and guidelines.
Evaluation: The performance of students in each course will be evaluated in terms of percentage of marks with a provision of conversion to grade points. Evaluation for each course shall be done bu comprehensive continuous assessment by the concerned course teacher and ESE (End-Semester Examination), and will be consolidated at the end of course.
Internship in teaching / Practice Teaching : The students are required to go through a school internship of five months (20 weeks) during two years in the schools under supervision of a teacher educator of the Institution itself.
Admission Process: Admission shall be made on merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination or in the entrance examination conducted by H.P. University, Shimla.
Eligibility Criteria: The candidate with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce/Arts) and or in Master’s Degree in (Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55%marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto and 45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories and 50% in case of B.tech or B.E. from a recaognized University established by law in India.
Age : There is no upper age limit for candidates applying to the regular B.Ed course of two years.
